Hi all,
I have just got an Elmo Standard/Regular 8mm film projector, what a great machine and very well made and looks like it will last forever!

It didn't come with the instruction manual so I am wondering what some of the functions are

1. On the speed control it can be rotated right around until it clicks into "ETS" - what does that stand for and its purpose?

2. The Auto start switch - appears to be a kill switch?

3. On the back next to the power socket there is another slot - round with a single prong on centre - what's this?

Thanks,

I don't know what ETS stands for...but the dial is set to that range when an external audio tape recorder is connected and synced to a film.

2. The Auto start switch - appears to be a kill switch?

Just leave this switch alone. It also has to do with syncing to an external tape recorder.

3. On the back next to the power socket there is another slot - round with a single prong on centre - what's this?

...and as you probably have guessed by now... this is where you would connect a special cord from the projector to the tape player.
