A friend of mine was sent an email perporting to be from Classic Home Cinema asking him to review a new release, DO NOT OPEN IT as he said it contained a Virus, luckily his anti-virus software managed to handle it, but be careful.

Thanks Barry! I've deleted it as well. Apparantly, someone who knows film collectors has sent that out. It sounds like someone might have hacked Phil's own records (e-mails and such). Yes, definitely, Phil needs to know!

Hard to belive that someone has targeted film collectors we are only a small group of people enjoying a hobby but yet someone wants to destroy our hardrives .

I received this email, and I'm convinced that this is a phishing activity. Infact the author of the email invites to click on a link and asks to insert your email and password, to read a shared document on Google drive! Beware, don't insert any personal data, because again, in my opinion, someone want to steal our personal data...

yes youre right steve a bit off topic but i saw some old buildings today and all windows had been smashed dont know what makes people think they have to do it strange ,but yes same with virus ,just thought a bit odd that they had targeted us the film collectors as used phils name as bait ,but when asked to log into the site alarm bells ring.
