very important announcement my north west film fair in blackpool will be held a week later .sunday 22nd novemeber 2015 .this is due to the irish weekend on the same day as my film fair taking up all the rooms ,so please note next years date is
22nd novemeber 2015 at the Hilton hotel blackpool thanks you all for attending regards david guest

Good to see that the Film Fair is boosting the Blackpool economy - and it must be very good news for the hotels and B and Bs that usually have a quiet period after the illuminations. I expect the change will also mean that everyone who wants to stay in the Hilton will get a room next year.

I keep getting asked if I really went there to see "Strictly Come Dancing" at the Tower Ballroom as that was on on Saturday (Thus the O/B and Satellite dish trucks outside it.) That must have put up the occupancy rates for a few hotels too.

the fun starts fridy night with a film show sat night evening meal quiz then a film show then sunday the main day stalls galore and film shows throughout the day look at the pictures vidar gas posted
