I won this and when I got it it didn't have the instruction manual, but thought they all basically work the same! Because I didn't have the instruction manual i was worried when I pushed the top green lever to allow threading that I couldn't see how to make it return to the projecting position! After I threaded a film it automatically returned! Phew as I thought I'd broken it lol Sometimes there are features that aren't common to all projectors and a instruction manual would've been useful ... learn as we go eh!

Hi Clinton... Sometimes the film does not trigger the release of the threading lever. If this happens just give a tug on the take-up reel to engage the release. Also...I have a manual if you would like a copy just PM me your email address. I'm guessing you figured out how to change from Super 8 to Standard 8mm. Some have found this not that intuitive.

Hi Janice, I've PM you for the manual 🙂 I wasn't sure how the gauge change worked but then saw the instructions on the lamp cover! Very clever idea I thought 🙂
