Bank balance alert! STAR WARS scope on 16mm. That's the good news. Bad news is looks like it has been made up from more than one print. Worth looking at however.

Your very right Steven, and it's certainly not worth it. It got bid up over 500.00 dollars, and it still didn't get up to the reserve price! Any serious collector wouldn't even bother with a faded print. Not only is the Eastman a little faded, it's badly faded. Even the first reel, which was on Kodak SP, has fade.

Another unrealistic seller.

Besides all of this, (as was stated in a Super 8 section of the forum), a person can buy on Super 8 scope, a print of Star Wars which, (as at least one person stated), is as good as a 16MM print AND you can get it or rerecord it in DOLBY STEREO!

Unless a person insists on 16MM; at least make sure that it has L.P.P. color.

Can you believe it ?!!

This item is getting bid up again, even with those faded eastman images! You know, I hoping that the fella actually sells them. It would be a good laugh on some poor sucker!

I don't suppose a buyer would be disappointed as the seller has made it clear what the print is like. Having said that, it's amazing that the seller is prepared to turn down $600+ for a faded print!

Very true Adrian.

I'm wondering if the seller is hoping that with each time the film is listed, (more exposure means higher selling price?), it will cause potential buyers to engage in a "feeding frenzy" at the last minute? Risky, if that is the game being played. I will be curious to see if it is listed again after this time around. I'm just going to watch it for that aspect!

I think sellers want what they want, and sometimes that is much more than it is worth....there is one film on ebay right now that I have wanted for sometime now, and the seller has it listed as a buy it now for $250 or best offer. The listing states its quality is an OK dupe so I offered them $200, and they turned it down....I feel pretty confident that they won't get even that from anyone else....
