Eiki pedestal 16mm machine, like new. In Japan. Big price though.

This seller on Ebay Germany is selling something that I believe he doesn`t even have in his(or her) posession.

This is the real listing for the Eiki 16mm projector on Yahoo Auctions in Japan.

http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m162325390

This 16mm projector has been sitting on yahoo auctions now for a few weeks with a buy it now price of $2,750 with free shipping(within Japan).

Most of this ebay seller`s 16mm equipment/films on Ebay are items that have been sitting on Yahoo Auctions Japan for months with inflated buy it now prices. The items come from multiple yahoo Auctions sellers which is what leads me to believe the person doesn`t have it in their possession.

This ebay seller marks up the price for double usually or in the case of this xenon machine triple the price. [Eek!]

Anyways, I had to get that off my chest. I`m tired of seeing this junk litter Ebay with inflated prices. Now knowing what its actually selling for Steven, would you buy it for $2,750 plus freight shipping from Japan to the UK?

That is very interesting and a bit suspicious. No, I'm not a buyer for this and in fact I have an Elmo pedestal but I put the link in to be of interest to others. The machine itself looks very clean and new, the price on the other hand should be more reasonable.
