Pat,

I think he'll be lucky if he gets a couple of bids with such little description and lack of screen shots.

Then again you never know [Wink] [Wink] After the Elvis short reel nothing surprises me now!

I wonder, does the seller name hint at the fur coat he'll be buying
the wife on a successful sale?

[Big Grin]

Actually, don't laugh too quick, all it takes is for one screwball to bid it up!

Well, the seller does say: "Has been price at $3500.00." so I guess he has received some expert advice!

That is very strange, as color Super 8 reels were widely available back in 1977. Don't know how many were actually sold or survive, but this was not rare at the time.

I have to say..I emailed the seller! I told him that there was nothing that was "A New Hope" about that film and that he should probably lower the price and inform the bidders that the film is not the feature lest he have an angry bidder on his hands!
Of course...no reply. [Cool]

... and the funny thing is that I'm going to have my wife list on her ebay (reel-ality) but early 80's scope "Cineavision" Empire Strikes Back feature, and that one, my friends, is a true rarity, even more so than the STAR WARS Cineavision print!
