I saw this auction and I must admit, it's probably a one of a kind auction. I doubt that there are many other original tickets from the Lads films like this!

It seems to indicate that nobody smokes in this home, therefore, the item should not have an obnoxious smell of cigarette smoke.

To make the difference between an old ticket that has been exposed to smoke and another that hasn't, one must have an exceptionnal nose, Maurice :-) What's more, it is not precised if the ticket has been stored in the same house from the begining.

Very nice looking ticket for 85 years of age if you are into that sort of thing. Mind you at $20.00 shipping (£14.00) plus international custom charges to be added I take it he is attaching a brick to it as well when he posts. I think I will skip on buying just save as a image then I can look at every so often like every 5 years or so.

I kind of wondered about that, but you never really know until you actually get the ticket. Old has a certain quality to it that's very hard to manufacture. It looks real to me, and if it was just put in a book or something else for 80 years, it's certainly possible that it might still be good.
