    • David... I love time travel movies. What I like about Time After Time is the story. It has minimal special effects and good acting. You really care about HG and Amy and you love to hate Jack. David Warner seems to always play psychopathic bad guys... And he is so good at it. Mary Steenburgen decided to use a what I think was a New York accent even though she appears to have lived in San Francisco most of her life. The scenes taken at the Palace of Fine Arts are wonderful and it all looks the same today.

      • FAMILY FLINTSTONE starring John Goodmann, Elizabeth Perkins, Rick Moranis, Rosie O‘Donnell & of course „Dino“ in this epic comedy from 1994. The best summer entertainment!

                • I had one of my grandson stay over last night. He turned 15 yesterday. After he cooked me a delicious steak dinner we watched Max Dugan's Return.

                  • BORN FREE

this is the true story about the married couple in Africa who adopted a baby lion cub and raised it as a pet and the decisions they had to make to release it in the wild

A bit faded but a nice strong print that ran extremely well through the projectors

It brought back strong vivid memories of when I was in the fourth grade and the class had a challenge to read X amount of books by a certain amount of time and choose a prize

The prize we got was a screening of this movie for the kids and I have strong memories of first taking note and interest of the Bell & Howell 16 mm school projector and how cool it was that it could be almost like the cinema in a classroom

and to make it even better this was a trade swap with the print I had available of Laurel and Hardy babes in toyland/March of the Wooden Soldiers so each of us only paid a little shipping price to complete the deal

It doesn't get much better or easier than that

                      • What a nice print Oliver. I love The Bodyguard. Whitney Houston and her music at her best and a perfectly casted film.

                          • I watched the first two reels of Baby Boom (1987) . Diane Keaton is consistently good and James Spader is oh so young. Hard to believe Sam Shepard and Harold Ramis are no longer with us. Watching the final third reel tonight.

                            • In honor of Eva Marie Saint's 98th birthday last night I watched her in The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming. A great cast in this film and Alan Arkin debuts his wide range of talents.

                              • Just to give the projector a run and test it. Caveman Inki the WB cartoon a Technicolor IB print I think from CHC, but started it's life at the St Louis County Library. The projector ran well but the lamp cut out and restored a couple of times - investigation needed.
