Had a mate around from work who wanted to see my IB tech print of Bullitt, although i already viewed this one recently, i was more than happy for a repeat viewing, a classic film on great stock and in very good condition.

Student Prince - managed to buy it on a local auction recently and is one of my favourite films! Picture is a bit soft and the last reel has bad scratch down the middle, but beggars can't be choosers, so I will live with that and simply enjoy it!

    Some pics from the screening:

The video projector is permanently mounted, but the 8mm and 16mm projectors come out when needed:

Last night I watched an educational film I just bought: The Ecology of Barrier Islands.

Now, I'll grant you this is not exactly Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments, but maybe even on a personal level, this worked for me. I live on the Atlantic coast and a lot of the locations look a lot like places I've grown up with. The scenery was wonderful and the film itself was beautifully filmed.

-and just maybe I...learned a couple of things!

Last night I watched Witness (1985) with Harrison Ford. This has been a favorite movie of mine and I love now having it on 16mm. The sound track is English with foreign subs. Color and contrast is very good.

    Yes, it's low fade, AG2S.
I was curious cause I'm noticing a lot AGFA films have this very faint purple tint to them.

    Hi Can Sanalan ,

Sorry for my late reply, i was waiting to be at home to take a look on the film. It's written AG25 on the copie, does it mean AGFA? Does it mean it's a low fade feature?

Well, I'll be watching a Flat copy of Mackenna's Gold! It has excellent color and always a good time.

I recently hit the jackpot by purchasing copies of THE FOG and SORCERER on 16mm and I'm over the moon about it. Can't wait to screen them this summer.

That Terminator 2 print to my eyes is certainly a flat one, not scope. If the seller had sold it as a scope print then he's made a mistake on his listing.
