Has anyone seen this type of Disney packaging before. I haven't and I find it interesting. Although the A&C doesn't belong

Here is Star Wars.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224732602356
Now. Its made of 3 reels. But its a two and one and not a three. In that Marketing Films must have releases two cutdowns. One reel version and a two reel version. The the longer 3x400.
Film stock! Well I did a eBay search for sold Star Trek Super 8. There is a two reel version. Luckily with screen grabs of the projected image. Quite faded (reasonable could discribe it). I got lucky with Airplane as it had no screen grabs (a bit of reasearch and curiosity).
Personally, I'd get the DVD. As Marketing Film quality, as with projectors, can vary greatly depending on how the last 30-40+ years has treated them.
I guess £200 is the going rate! Or is it! 😇

No. It's 200 squid for a reasonable print. It's all in the wording
They probably went off recent purchases. Star Trek and Airplane. Now I bought Airplane but didn't pay the sale price as eBay had provided a voucher. I paid less. I wasn't intrested in Star Trek or Airplane as movies. I was intrested in eBay sales and knowing the quality available from film. I knew that these lots were from, as advertised, house clearance. All lots looked well maintained. I knew eBay is overpriced and that the bids would be lower for the first lot and higher for the second. That's regardless of title. So I bid offline of 170 and 185 if memory serves. Playing the game I altered the timings of the bids, so that the first was something like 12 seconds. The second was more like 45 seconds. You can tell from what I'm saying, I have no interest in the content but the games eBay and people play. Once Star Trek sold I knew Airplane would now wreak a premium. Having a voucher offered too ment I could up my bid. EBay increasing the sale price without cost to the buyer. Hence the "winning" bid. Star Trek and Airplane as such wasn't the goal. EBay is a game, a gamble. Once that genre has been played with, the bidders move on. Will Star Trek sell, or get relisted many times over?
Whoever buys a faded print will loose intrest in 8mm very quickly, especially at that price.

If they have any sense Stu.
My goodness silly money for a faded old film that will only get worse. Mine left the building years ago when the colour started to go, but the new Star Trek 4 film set of 4K UHD disks was on my Santa list so hopefully its in the sack Christmas Day. 😲 Or in the bag.
As with a growing number of others I tend to buy the new prints having already but up a hefty collection of old prints across the gauges. At least the colour will stick and see me out.

Really silly money for this, but as B&W no fade.
