Got the IEC socket in today, lubed up the gears, all runs well. Next issue, the bulb socket.. ordered a replacement from Van-Eck, found the bulb leads had corroded and the socket is bad. New bulb in hand waiting for the socket.

Yes got the Flywheel! Everything except the bulb is working! I also found an Elmo KM100SM, paid very little for it, it is pristine, in the original box with the original Reel and 8mm adapters! Looks brand new, bulb works. The drive belt is rotten and in pieces, ordered a new one. So now I have the Eumig MarkS, Elmo ST800 and the KM100SM. Tried a digital capture with my Sony FDR AX43 4K cam set to 24p with the Eumig on 24 FPS, perfect no flicker at all, This is the perfect setup for 8mm. I upscale it with Topaz Video Enhance AI and can even add frames with Artificial intelligence using Flow frames, this can synthesize frames to produce 30 or even 60 FPS from and 18 FPS or even lower! Experimenting for best results.
