Although I respect Doug's optimism, I am betting that it will take longer ... It always takes LONGER. However, once the print arrives, all is largely forgiven. 😃

Sorry I can't help you with that, David, but to be on the safe side of things, set aside 250.00, just to be safe. Could someone please put the actual price on here?

I don’t know if what you’re referring to exactly. Maybe Doug can clear up my confusion.
Go to 8mm Films For Sale, page 3 with subject title New Super 8mm Digests - SOLD by Philip Hamilton. He was selling a 400’ color Curse Of Frankenstein which I did buy from him. It’s great! I don’t know if Doug is referring to the same print or not. If it is the same I’ll be happy to give you a review of it.

              Jim,

I can appreciate the confusion! I'll try to find out more in the next day or two, but the prints that Philip listed in his sale thread were custom made for him, with only one or two being made. The new release that David is referring to is actually from a different lab, so we await a review of those prints once they are available.

Last I heard the prints were to be shipped to THE REEL IMAGE about a week ago. So they may be on the way from Europe or they may have already arrived. I know that the REEL IMAGE is anxious to get this print out to all of those who ordered it.

I for one am eager to see the difference in the image - if it exists - between my one-off print and what Andec has done with it. I hope everyone enjoys the edit.

Just received my copy of CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN imported from Germany. My copy was in excellent condition - excellent picture and booming sound!

If you have the companion EDIT of 1958’s DRACULA having 1957’s CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN will perfectly round out your early gothic Hammer Horror Super 8mm collection.

I will post some pictures later that I took of the projected image. It looks really good. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are of course fantastic in this first pairing of these two great horror icons.
