Gian, I checked my earliest Blackhawk Bulletin (August, 1960), not one Our Gang is listed. As of Spring-Summer 1972, the Silent ones are BARNUM & RINGLING, INC, LITTLE MOTHER, CRAZY HOUSE, FAST FREIGHT, SPOOK SPOOFING & SATURDAY'S LESSON

Next Bulletin (April, 1976) shows MARY, QUEEN OF TOTS, NOISY NOISES, THE OLD GRAY HOSS, RAINY DAYS, UNCLE TOM'S UNCLE, WIGGLE YOUR EARS, BIG BUSINESS, ELECTION DAY, CAT-DOG & CO., plus ads for 49 Super 8 Sound Our Gang shorts

Another listing of July, 1976 has 58 Super 8 Sound Our Gang, no other silents

78 Our Gangs in Super 8 Sound listed by the April, 1978 edition

Think the last few came out between then and about 1984

Now, also remember that Niles put out a few silent versions, and there were cut-downs in 200' from minor distributors, but essentially, you want THE best, you want Blackhawk, and that is the source to strive for - I'll see what I can trail - Ciao, Shorty

The Niles silent Our Gangs are of abominable quality.

Secondlhy, I always found that those from Niles were silent version, any sound version from Niles?

I know - Most of the NILES pre-print was washy at best, and no they did not release all of what Blackhawk did. Blackhawk was licensed with Roach, and had THE best negs with which to work of course - Niles catalog I don't have, but they released some of the silents is all I remember

The Reel Images catalog of 1979 and the Niles catalog n. 72, of 1980, both list the same silent Rascals titles:
Baby Clothes
Back Stage
Big Business
Big Show
Boys will be Joys
Champeen
Derby Days
Giants vs Yanks
Lodge Night
Mary, Queen of Tots
Shivering Spooks
Sundown Ltd
Thundering Fleas
Uncle Tom's Uncle

For history's sake, the british 1938 Kodascope catalog lists the following 8mm silents:
Boys Will Be Boys
Buried Treasure
The Fourth Alarm
Monkey Business
Shivering Spooks
Fire Fighters
Ten Years Old
Young Sherlocks
Love My Dog
Mysterious Mystery
Seeing the World
No Noise
The Champeen
Official Officers
Its a Bear
One Wild Ride
Just in case one finds himself in an old abandoned warehouse or in Grandpa's attic, and stumbles on a ,forgotten during the last sixty years, big box full of std eights. In fact I found reel one of No Noise and Walton did release a one reel cutdown titled "Hospital Hi jinks" ,so, by joining reel one and the second part of "Hi jinks",I have a reasonably more "complete" 300 foot print.
I have also found about one meter (three feet) from the beginning of DOG DAYS,which Maltin lists as "unavailable"(i.e. lost),which someone used as leader for an amateur travelog of his !!! So this one exists also in std 8.

Just wondering if anyone else has any titles with neat little 'trailers' attached to the front. This was done after market of course.
I have 2 titles in particular, shrimps for a day' that has an older Jerry tucker talking at the beginning to his wife asking her if she has ever watched shrimps for a day, to which she replies unbelievably that SHE HASN'T! And another title 'moan and groan' with Max Davidson talking. I forget currently what he says, i'll have to watch again soon.
Anyone else have anything cool like this?

ps: btw- if anyone wants to quickly organize a list in a post alphabetically, you can do so here: Sort a list alphabetically
