Hi all,
The converter lens for my Elmo FPC, is causing a halo effect when I project, lens is clean on outside but when I look inside it, looks like it is frosted if that is correct term. The plastic ring on one end has two small holes, I am assuming they are for removing the ring so one can clean inside this.
Anyone know what to use to do this, if I am right in what I am saying re the holes.

Hi Phil...I've notice with the Elmo FP's I've had that lens clouding or fungus is common. A spanner wrench as Martin suggests is the proper tool for removing the ring insert, however if you don't have one you can try using calipers. You have to be careful not to damage the plastic holes in the insert...but it does work.
