CineSea 16 is just about a month away, so it's time for attendees to nominate a prized print from their collection for our screening on Friday evening, October 13th at the Ocean Holiday Resort in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. Admission is free.

Please list your nomination and format in this thread by 9/29. We'll then have an online survey and attendees can pick which title they prefer by 10/6.

My offering is the Red Fox print of "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (Super 8mm/Color).

Last time we had a ball watching David Lucidi's 16mm print of Beetlejuice. I can't wait to see what the titles we get to choose from this time!

To find out more details about CineSea, please look here.

I have a LOT of catching up to do on posting on the forum (been out of the loop for a few months). But I will suggest 2 titles from my personal collection, for CineSea 16 (keeping with the 'theme' for Halloween):

-Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978 color version)

-Love at First Bite (1979, Dracula comedy starring George Hamilton).

If only one title is permitted per person, I default to Doug to eliminate whichever one he wouldn't want to see [Smile]

(Edited to clarify that the print suggestions above were ones I actually have, not just some random titles [Wink]

David B., Todd, Joe & David L., I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in 3 weeks!

For those still looking at their closet o' film and trying to decide.....we have till Friday night to put a film up for consideration.

I'm going to extend the nomination date till (and including) Monday October 2nd. One person with a print isn't sure of attending and will know by then.

Great film and the Red Fox LPP Super 8mm 6x400ft full length version is an outstandingly beautiful print when viewed up on the big screen.

That'd be where my vote would go if I were an attendee.

If you'd prefer a color sci-fi film, I have a 16mm print of Virus from 1980. Just thought I'd throw that one in. lol

Hi Doug!

Can we on this side of the pond be awarded an "honorary vote" pleeeeze ?? (Ha!Ha!) In other words..... a vote that doesn't count?
If so, my vote goes to Roustabout !!!! ( Actually, it would be quite interesting to see what other members of the forum who can't attend would vote for)

On a slightly more serious note..... hope you all have a BALL in Wildwood next weekend, and maybe one day...... one day.....!!

We have kind of an in-house policy of not campaigning for our favorites, but after we voted we found out we were unanimous!
