The lab normally takes a little while (I'd say 2 months at least): they need to get an order at least for two prints of the same title to be in a position to supply it, Graham.
Hi Adrian, how are you? There is the chance to get prints on polyester, but as far as I know, no balance stripe on them . You are totally right about their 'yellowing' acetate. I was told a year back or so - maybe more - that this 'old' stock was intended to be soon replaced since it was pratically exhausted. Well, I'd say it is not yet, since the very last German prints I had on acetate were still on the same, yellowing stock.
Thanks for your kind comments on my pics from ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, Hugh. Well, German prints, referring to their prices, were never that cheap.
Does Steve (Reel Image) have an official web site? I asked someone else before, but I never had a reply.
