James, how did you get on with your claw issue? You never responded to the other members advice on this issue so I was just wondering if your machine is back working again now and if so, what was needed to fix?
When things are resolved regarding problems with people's machines it's good to share on here for the benefit of other users who may come across similar issues in the future.

Dominique ... I have both the 1.3 and the 1.2 lenses. I'll try and post some comparison pics in the near future unless someone else has time to do this.

Dominique...I did a quick comparison test of the two lenses. Looking at the clarity and sharpness...they both were excellent and at least with my eyes... I couldn't see any discernible difference. In comparing the image size, I set the projector at 5.6ft. from the screen. The Super 8mm image with the 1.3 lens measured 23" in width, while the 1.2 lens was 27". The 1.2 lens projected a 15% larger image.

Thanks a lot, Janice. On the picture, it seems to be a difference : the 1.2 lens looks brighter. So, it is useful that you say it is not noticeable for human eyes. The larger size is however a plus for those who haven't enough room. I know that there is also a Super Ogon with a 1.1 aperture but it gives a smaller picture (it is 18-28 mm) and I'm not sure it fits all Eumig projectors.
