What is your favorite line from a movie? One of mine is from "My Darling Clementine" Henry Fonda says to the bartender "Mac, have you ever been in love". Mac says "No, I've been a bartender all my life".

I know this post has probably been done before and that "frankly some of you might not give a damn" and are "mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore". But "that was then and this is now". [Roll Eyes]

P.S. "I can't go without my coffee Jeff" 'bang' 'bang' 'bang'

I just remembered one of my favorite bits of dialogue, between the Cary Elwes character and Inigo Montoya (sp?) in "The Princess Bride" ...

"You seem like a nice fella. I hate to kill you." - "You're rather likable yourself. I hate to die."

(Well, it went *roughly* like that, don't remember the exact wording) [Smile]

I have three favorite lines.

1: "Ariel, Listen to me. The Human World....it's a mess."

Sebastion from Disney's The Little Mermaid

2: "I feel like a defective typewriter....I missed a period."

Rizzo to another Pink Lady in the movie Grease (Drive in Rest Room scene)

3: "If you can't be an athlete, be an atheltic supporter."

The principal's microphone speech to Rydell High School, from the movie Grease

:-)

Ba***** asked me to understudy Konstantin in The Seagull. I'm not going to understudy anybody. Especially that pimp! Anyway, I loathe those Russian plays. Always full of women staring out of windows, whining about ducks going to Moscow.

Seems crazy that such a topical post has taken 14 years to re-surface. I would rate this almost as good as Lee's "What films did you show last night?" but not quite.
Thank you Steven for resurrecting it.

Salah - "How?"

Indy - "I dunno, I'm making this up as I go".

Boy! Talk about a really old thread. This might be one of the oldest restarted! A possible record ...

My tag-line "Tears in the Rain" is a favorite, but I'm also quite fond of Eastwood ...

"Go ahead ... make my day!"

(gee, does that mean I am anti-social in nature?!) [Smile]
