well, even its the only one ever printed i can't say that price would do it for me. At the end of the day i have the full film plus extras on a remastered anniversary disc, it's obviously not the same as the reel deal but all i need do is put my £9.99 disc via my epson projector and i get to see the same film on an even bigger screen with superior 5:1 dolby stereo sound. Remember my reality check? Its these very things that make you go look and think, Really? It's a movie, a darn fine movie but almost 2 grand? Not for me, but good luck to the seller, there appears to be many suckers out there paying wayyyyyy over the odds for some films. By the way, this particular movie is one of my all time favourites, i always wanted to own it, the 400 was a waste of time, (in my view) but the feature is rare thanks to Derann being very naughty, otherwise they would have been able to have many more printed.

Guys, we are super 8mm collectors or maniac. So someone must be even more maniac from us.
We say it is crazy to spend €1950 for a F/L film while with a £9.99 disc we can enjoy the same.
Ok... Some other people also say, "I don't understand [your name]. He bought a Tom & Jerry film, a 7 minute film, for £35, while I can buy a £5 disc and it has 12 stories on it"
Since this is a collector forum, no one knows what is inside the mind of every collectors. There are long time collectors who become pickier and pickier, but there are also new comers who just have few films and are willing to spend that much money.
Also taken into account those non 8mm collectors who just want to have the memorabilia of certain films or directors in any format.
So I don't see any benefit to discuss the price. This is a collectors forum and everything may happen.
My 2 cents though,

It's all about demand. I mean, hey, I remember a Derann scope feature of STAR WARS, sold by a member of this very forum, in only fair condition (it had scratching and all, and he even had screenshots showing the scratching on it) and he got 1,800.00 for it.
I've got to admit, if i was a fellow lucky to have a good deal more money, I'd be glad to pay that for it, even with owning the 1977 original original feature in scope.
