It took more than 3 years but now I found „Wings“ on eBay USA in Reg8 and I can’t wait to get and watch it…! A dream comes true!

Brian, I read that the quality of some of the Reg8 prints are better than some Super 8 prints; I will write about it as soon as the print takes it wings to Germany

I don't like regular 8mm mounted on huge reels for the simple reason that I don't have a projector to project them with. Even for 600 foot reels, I have exactly one Eumig Dual 8 projector that can handle that size. As I've mentioned, I've cut them down, but it takes a while and I'm lazy. Plus, I've used up all my spare reels, which were Super 8 anyway so you need an adapter to mount them on 8mm machines. And my Super 8 projectors have better lenses and better light output.
That being said, I have many short Standard 8mm films. Many I bought because they were rare titles in any gauge.
