Auctions of Interest - Please post all noteworthy eBay 8mm film links here
Just goes to show as to how fast a price rises in literally, the last seconds! Whew! Glad I bought all of my Derann Disney's when I did, ten years ago!
Note the pictures: On the 35mm forum it mentions that 90's Agfa was unstable and could fade. If you look at the pictures most seem to have a touch of red. I've noticed this before on some other Derann auctions such as Secret of NIHM.
Some of that could possibly be the camera too. I mean anytime I take pics with my digital camera, I end up with red looking pics, and they are from L.P.P. prints that I know for a fact, are not faded.
I have had two fairly modern features with colour shift . The Fugitive , the daylight scenes looked very good but the blacks were turning red , very noticeable in the night scenes . And more worrying , The Terminator again the blacks are slightly reddish . All other colours look great .
That print of Predator looks like it is fading ,just slightly..
Have bought a few 16mm films off him and his screen shots are pretty accurate. .
"RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK" 400ft. Not a bad price so far, and though it's very pink, it still has some color. With German audio. It's rare anyone posts actual photos of the projected film, so good to see it here.
