  • Projectors in movies (as opposed to the other way around) ... continued

This topic was very popular in the old forum started by our trusty and hard-working moderator Doug Meltzer. I was a frequent contributor.

if you want to check if one you find has been listed before... A couple of years ago Bill Bradenstein made a list of the posted projector sightings .

It's amazing how I still come upon projectors in movies so I feel compelled to continue sightings here in the new addition to our forum.

Last night I was watching The Tuskegee Airmen and sure enough there were two scenes involving projectors.

Dominique De Bast ... It's a rare occasion that you find a Pathe' 9.5 projector in a film....but maybe not so much in a French movie

It is rare also, Janice. I didn't expect that

Bell & Howell 16mm I seem to remember, I'll check when I get round to watching the Blu Ray.

In the episode 3 of the serie The New Pope, you can bievely see a projector. The picture is far to be clear but the scene is originally dark.

The Italian Job 1969 has a sequence near the start in which Michael Caine is riding on a milk float and looking at a reel of 16mm film, he then watches the film at home on his projector.

                        RE: Grey Goose: The pursuit

Great find Graham! A surprise ending to to warm every movie lover's heart. It reminded me of the "projection with mirrors" sequence from Cinema Paradiso.
