Some folks have a different idea of the meaning of the word "condition". I suppose a film's physical condition, ie. wear, splices , scratches, could be called by some as "mint" if the film has no wear, splices or scratches...BUT could be red as a beet. I've bought some of those a few times. Others lump color fade into their idea of "condition". These days I ask the seller pointed questions aimed at both physical condition of the piece of film AND, if in color, the color of the film. That way there's no misunderstanding. If the box is sealed and the seller doesn't want to break the seal, then I let someone else buy that one.
