Hello,

I picked up a Bolex 16mm Camera and realized that the pressure plate is missing! I was wondering if anyone has an extra pressure plate they could spare? Or if they have a Bolex that no longer works, perhaps I could purchase the pressure plate from you. I'd appreciate any help at all. Please let me know your asking price.

Thanks!

You'll have better luck if you list the model of the camera.

I completely forgot to put down the model! It's a Bolex H16.

Thanks Barry!

Since the Bolex H16 was such a long-lived camera the gate pressure plate changed over time. Cameras with serial numbers of the mid 1950s onwards have non-ferrous plates. Try and source a plate from a camera of similar age.

Thanks for your help and suggestions guys. I ended up getting a good deal on another Bolex. I figured this would be a better option than waiting and hoping to find a replacement part.

Thanks again!
