Piccolo Film's 400' Planet Der Vampire. Another candidate for re-recording.

We watched the very good Sherlock Holmes feature, " The Scarlet Claw", the best of that series, in our opinion.

One Elmo 800 foot reel of

1...Tom and Jerry in Tee for Two
2....Motor Mania stunning color print bought new from Derann many moons ago.
3....Peace On Earth 1939 another stunning color print. PS The later 1955 Good Will to Men in Scope, is one of the best films I have on that format, its also a stunning sharp color/sound print.
4....Suzie The Little Coupe excellent color sound print.
5....and to finish Tom and Jerry in Smarty Cat from 1955

Terminator III Crane chase. Arnie paid for that sequence to be produced and what a difference it made to the film.

Just watched A View to a Kill pre-credit and title again for probably the 5th time in the last 2 weeks.

A few days ago watched Casino Royale (2006). Stunning edit and picture. One of the best ever action reels on Super 8.

I was very glad to finally buy a copy of a long cherished fantasy film from 1948, "Portrait of Jennie". This was released by ABC Films, but unlike a lot of other edited versions of features from ABC Films, this one is complete, as it was only 80 some minutes to begin with. Nice sharp image. I only wish that it was in it's original release style, in which the last reel of the film was tinted green, and the very last scene was in full technicolor, but to have this film on super 8 alone, is awesome!

Tonight it was again the turn of a excellent full length release 600ft color print of Blustery Day from Derann

Below screen shots are from a previous screening, tonight they are even brighter than those below, with those extra volts going to the lamp, both picture and sound look great.

It's "The neverending Story". I bought a copy off Phil a couple of years ago as I missed it on original release.
