I would add my own set up, a nod to an ABC cinema interior but do not have the knowledge to post pictures. However, it can be seen on one of Keith Wiltons "Armchair Odeons" DVDs as he filmed it some years ago. Needless to say some of the equipment has changed since then and the collection of films and etc. have been breeding rapidly, to the extent that I am now disposing of stuff because of my age and running out of space!! Well after 10 months of living in my new house I finally found furniture for my cine projection room. Out with the old patio chairs and in with two new power reclining sofas.
I also added a new sound bar and subwoofer. It works really well with my digital projector and I am working on incorporating it with the film projectors. I need some kind of switcher to control the device input into the sound bar.

I like that the projector is all ready to go in case I want to watch my regular 8 films. What really ties the room together, though, is the atmosphere — I recently added some art deco wallpaper to the back wall behind the projectors, and it completely changed the vibe. It gives the whole setup that old-school cinema feel while still looking stylish and modern. Honestly, it feels like having a little private theater right at home, and it makes the whole movie experience that much more special.
Here I'm running "The Good-bye Girl" in 16mm. In front of the film projectors there is a very old digital projector I bought off the Goodwill. All the projectors hook up to my two little guitar amps under the screen. Simple setup and the sound is great! It so nice to have everything in one room all set up and ready to go...Films, TV, DVDs, and Streaming. I love it!

Hi Richard...The setup you are referring to was my original setup at my house in Sunnyvale California. It definitely was my favorite room. However I moved to Southern California in 2021 and had to reconfigure which you see in the top posting of this thread. The room isn't as large, however the seating is much more comfortable with the recliners. I replaced the guitar amps with a soundbar and a subwoofer. The sound is so much better. The guitar amps worked very well for awhile but now with the stereo sound it's fantastic. I project to the wall opposite the projectors now. My previous screen didn't survive the move. My projection length is only 12 ft opposed to it used to be 15 ft. I get about a 90 inch picture for digital and about 55 in for film projected to the wall. I actually don't watch a lot of movies by myself since my one son lives with me and my other son and his family live around the corner. I have a Plex server to watch digital movies in addition to my 16mm and 8 mm. It's always set up and ready to go as soon as it gets dark. Which means I'll be glad when daylight savings time is over 🤗
