I like the "found in my fathers attic after he passed away", are
we suprised.............at those prices.Nothing like some of these
sellers wishful thinkings to send you to sleep laughing into the
pillow.

I'm amazed at the prices people come up with on ebay sometimes. $666.66 starting bid and $888.88 buy it now for a Bolex B8 camera.

Craziness that's not too much different - $258 for Disney home movie title cards as a Buy It Now! Funny thing is they even disclose that one is missing so there are only 7!

Anyone need a 50mm lens for an Eiki projector? Ooooh! F1.4!

Hey, at least the shipping's free.

Remind me to use a red laser for extra lighting next time I take pictures of a lens.

Are we to assume that the pictures were taken in the cleanest room in the house?

That second picture is too much!

Although the item received 26 bids so the seller may be setting a new trend in advertising....

1. Find the dirtiest room in the house to stage photo shoot.
2. Stand at least 5' away from item when taking pictures.
3. Claim that it may or may not work.

SOLD!

If the seller is a forum member....congratulations!

Someone has received their 16mm film back from processing, and now wants £12 for the empty reel and can.

BOlex Paillard 8mm Projector 18-5 Made in Switzerland - UNTESTED

I sent them a question "was it hit by a truck?"

And the response was "I buy all of my items used, so I do not know an items history prior to my finding it. In this particular case the damage appears more along the lines of having been dropped off of a truck, likely from a height above 1 meter".

I wasn't really expecting a response.

On a side note I just got one for $25 from a local seller on Craigs List in almost perfect condition. It was very well taken care of over the years. [Big Grin]

It would make a good suitcase stand

Ok is this the real pictures of the Godfather print or are we just getting entertained again with stills from the movie. Looks like stills because listed as flat and show widescreen and the color in superb in the pictures. Wow no splice or scratches amazing

The wording seems just a little wrong on the copyright. Unless this is a one off and the film maker assigns copyright to you, he still retains it. German State Railways

I now know I have either lost the plot or this is listed wrong!

£125 for a pinky 183ft super 8 film...

In the 1970's I purchased this from good old Barry Wiles Films who was very kind to me as a young film collector price £5.20 I seem to remember. I still have the very same film which always had a very slight pink tint IN PLACES note. How on earth can this old flick be worth £125 I ask?

Here is my own copy in its old Barry Wiles Box and had since I was but a lad..

 -

Lady on the box did the audio mix I understand.

Off screen picture from my own print. It is sharp but picture taken just with el mobile.
 -

Still no lines (other than train tracks) projected on Eumig and later GS1200 over oh..... 35+ years maybe. Barry had just got these prints in I think.
