Somebody seems to have confused a Little Rascals short with a 60s English rock band...

$128 for the instruction manual seems a bit steep. Maybe the Italian versions are rare.

Here is something I just spotted. It is the 400' digest of "Cat Ballou". The opening price of 14.99 seems reasonable enough. But the Buy-It-Now price?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAT-BALLOU-1965-JANE-FONDA-LEE-MARVIN-SUPER-8-FILM-DIGEST-VERSION-TRIANGLE-/270917752495?pt=US_Film&hash=item3f13f4!

$2,099.00 ?!!

Kind of steep for a "somewhat faded" 15 min. film, no? I wonder if the price was supposed the be $20.99 and the seller accidentally added a few more zeros.

You were right Chris, I contacted the seller and the listing has been corrected!

Yep!!! It was a typo.

Doug posted last month about "The Thing From Another World". It sold for $79!

Saw something similar today.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-14-78-Tarantula-Super-8MM-Black-White-Sub-Titled-Silent-Edition-Universal-8-/170828896479?pt=US_Film&hash=item27c63218df

Does $40 for a 200' silent "Tarantula" from U8 seem high or will it actually sell for that or more?

$500? That's probably half what the film took at the Box Office. The suggestion that there are people out there thinking these glasses are worth $500 scares me more than the film did.

Has anyone else seen this copy of the 400' "The Birds" on eBay?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/270971970686?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

20 bids and currently at $74! Really? And it could still go higher! I sold my faded copy about a year ago and was happy to get $25. The seller doesn't even know what it looks like.

"I have been informed that there could be a loss of color due to age of film. Not sure if this is true but I wanted to put it out there because I have no projector to check film."

Is this digest really that rare? I'm wondering if I should have kept the one I sold even though it was almost beet red and had some splices.

And when I sold my copy I was lucky to get 20.00 for it.

You know, you list a film with it's condition, cleaned, viewed, etc...and nothing happens. You list a film that you know nothing about because you don't have a projector and it sells for $100.

I need to get rid of my projectors when I sell my collection and claim I've never seen them!

Bill, I think you may be onto something.

Three hours to go and it is up to $140.00!!!

Will it go higher?
