  • Now everyone needs to keep their black cats away from white painted objects they can run their backs on. Pepe won't stay on a lead for long.

      • The first year I've filmed with Negative Super 8 and shortly to get a 2K scan. Lost count how much reversal S8 stock I have run off with the majority making a film that tells some sort of story.

          • This is the season for young waterfowl to make their appearance. There are a number of new families in New York City's Central Park reservoir (which is no longer used a water supply source). I've been following a few of the goslings.

              • Spring (REAL Spring) at Last!

Well: my son and I actually managed to go someplace where there were no masks required last weekend.

(Good thing: It would have really messed-up our sun tans! There would be nothing else to do but grow beards!)

                  • Superb images and very interesting.

Out photographing one of our old mills due for demolition which covered 85,000sq so sad to see it go making way for a new shopping outlet village. It even had its own small gauge steam railway running round it and along the Leeds Liverpool canal UK.

                    • One of the good things about video projection is watching your favorite TV series from a long ago past. For me, watching "Lost In Space" The War Of The Robots episode is a far cry from the tiny B/W rental TV that we had way back then.

                          • Beautiful as it is to see that skyline at 11pm at night, it makes it difficult to project your films with such ambient DAYLIGHT coming in at NIGHTTIME - looks like I'm going to need to get some proper blackout curtains!

                            • My blackout is partially down due to me painting the window frames and surrounds, I'm painting the outside but from inside.

                              • You must have long arms Brian

Talking about blackouts best thing I did was to buy a ultra white blackout blind really handy for a quick daylight film presentation. Got mine from a specialist shop in Ulverston when visiting Stan Laurels house....as you do.

Converted another Eumig 822 sound projector to 2 blade shutter so will be running some STD 8 sound films later tonight from el archive.
