On Friday, it was a visit to the beautiful Leeds Castle in Kent. About 3 miles from Maidstone, 35 miles south east of London...... and about 250 miles south east of the city of Leeds !! (work that one out!!)
I wandered into Lady Baillie's Boudoir !
It looks like she was expecting me.......................................

I am rather surprised you did not come across the ghost of my past! For many years I lived at Culverstone, near Meopham and then at Coxheath, near Maidstone. Have visited Leeds Castle many times for various events. My wife actually did night duty as a nurse to Lady Bailie for a while and advised them recently about the decor of the rooms when it was set up as it was in the time of her ladyship. This is the set up that you have seen. It truly is a beautiful place.😊
I went to the Lincoln Square multiplex to see the re-release of Stop Making Sense. The downstairs theatre is one I rarely go to, however I do like their wall decorations!
I was given some old "Movie Maker" magazines last week, although I have most of them already they were still a good read, with some copies I don't have, so while the platter was doing its thing loading up one reel at a time, I was sitting with my feet up reading and listing to some music at the same time, timing my check up on the platter loading of "ET" every so often. I have added "The Polar Express" and "Where The Wild Things Are" trailers just for fun and a turn your cell phone off as well. .
We were looking through some Lego last week and came across this in the store, so we just had to have it. Steven came round as he is right into Lego and put it together .
Its really very clever, Lego have done a brilliant job, I understand its one of there popular sellers out here with Lego fans, although in saying that, Lego has a huge range of very interesting product. Steven and his son Connor, are the ones in our family that can sit for hours, putting together Jigsaws and Lego, where as my daughter April is very much like me with this stuff, we are more in a confused state, so Steven and Connor are the ones
I have taken a few photos of the assembly book that comes with it with more details. I am impressed with the multi plane camera and "The Old Mill" in it
