You would have liked these, Ali. Before I go out to the grille my wife and I usually have a pre-steak meeting. I thought three minutes per side twice, but she didn't think they were that thick, so we compromised to 2:30 per side twice.
-these were still a little pink in the middle. (Still good!)
Note: the floodlights on the patio were recently changed to LEDs. In real life the steaks were much nicer in color!

There's actually a method to this madness: we'd have steaks anyway without using the barbecue, but if my wife cooked them in the kitchen the house would fill up with steak-fog! Let's keep the air we have as clean as possible until it's sane to open the windows! (From the looks of things, It may need to last us a while...)
NOW...Where did our trailer go? (No camping this week for sure!)
.
(-it snowed again today...sighhhhhhhhh!)

A Bad Year to be a Snow Blower!

So, the snowstorm before last, I was churning through some particularly thick stuff when my trusty machine just kind of died on me! I tried to re-start it but it just sputtered!
I tried rationalizing with it "It's just flooded: I'll let it sit overnight and it'll start tomorrow!" Well...No! -the next day it was still dead!
As much as I didn't want to, I found a local place that specializes in small engine repair and trucked it over there. What a sight I saw! Every square foot both inside and out had somebody's dead snow blower on it! It looked like a battlefield the next day! I started out hoping I could have it back the next day, but based on what I was seeing I didn't even ask. The people working there looked really tired!
We had it back 6 days later and got snow again the next day. It is good as new!
