      • I missed getting reels 1 and 3 at a BFCC for about £40. I had just gone back to the bring and buy after debating about buying it only to see someone else pick it up and pay.......

          • Last night Hoppy Goes to Town Derann LPP and a few Disney extracts the two 101 Dalmatians (one UK release on Fuji the other French on Agfa) and Snow White (Whistle While you Work UK on Fuji The Dwarfs' Dilemma Spanish, silent on Agfa). Europe seemed to be lucky not having Disney printed on low (or lower) fade stock than SP or Eastmancolor.

            • I screened an austrian masterpiece from 1934 by Willi Forst called MASKERADE.
A great film with a great cast about a scandal in the society of Vienna around 1905.
Paula Wesselys first appearance in a feature and a huge success for her and the start of an incredible career.
Paula Wessely is also known to be the german dubbing voice of Walt Disney’s SNOW WHITE.

              • Just back from the weekend "What a carry on" and projecting from my portable projection box..a tent.

Used the Eumig HID 860 to great effect onto a tripod screen and amongst many we watched
a couple of cartoons Road Runner, Mickey mouse and of course Carry on Camping.
                BBQ
Ended with Taste the Blood of Dracula.

Will up a photo on the Eumig HID thread later.

Also, a 400' Film Office cutdown of the Jerry Lewis film The Bellboy. Nice edit, however it ends abruptly.

                        • One of the best made STD 8 projectors ever.

We watched several S8 Optical sound films and a new purchase of brand new old stock prints WORLD ON PARADE 1982 in French. I like a few films in various languages and this is a nice one which features the new Ford XR4i from design to road, American bank and Xerox.

Some still left on ebay 254649865404 £8.95 and a bargain.
