Thank you!
Just watched another new acquisition, "Dad Boot" , classic U boat action film, with beautiful unfaded color. Very important, as all the action takes place in a dark, claustrophobic German U boat. Super 8 optical sound, German film but with a dubbed English soundtrack. Also, it is bin it's original letterbox!

What a cool one to have in your collection, Osi!
I’m currently saving up for a new Steve Osborne REEL IMAGE print for 2022! Always worth putting all those Penny’s in the piggy bank.
Just about clinging to Christmas watched The Snowman, alarmingly going faded. Not to worry it has entertained many and not just in this household over the years.
Might see a new release of this yet you never know to renew it.
Ended with the vintage Arrow release of Jack and the Beanstalk animated purchased as a child. The films the same with sound but i seem to have aged ....a little

I was about to say to Ali that 13 showings in a year is still to be applauded....... that is 13 more than most of the worlds population and an average of just over once a month...... Then I read Chip's post above and that blows everything out of the water ! Well done Chip !
For me, I am now done and dusted with super 8 for 2021. I suspect my total showings for the year (without checking back on this and the equivalent 16mm thread) would be around 20 - 25. I anticipate my next show will be 8th January after I have raided the CHC winter sale in Cleethorpes over that weekend, and checking what new films I purchased!
