There are many technical topics that we've covered (time & again), so I believe it would be very useful to start an index of those you find to be the most informative. Please post the links here to your favorites and I will create an index with a number of categories (Film Cleaning, Projector Repair, etc.). Please use the "URL" button to give your link a title. That way I can simply copy & paste the topic into the index. After your link has been added, I will delete the posts to keep this thread concise. Tech topics & equipment reviews only, please!

Wow! Great topics!
I've started putting them together...
This is a lot of work, however I think it well help many members.
Here's what can be done to make this a bit easier....for me! Please use the "URL" button to give your link a title. That way I can simply copy & paste the topic into the index.
As you can see, I've deleted each post in this thread after adding them to the index.
We're off to a terrific start!
Thanks!

Dear Doug,
In trying to help with the index, i have discovered a small anomaly.
What it is is that there are several GREAT potential index entries, but the subject matter is scattered throughout a few threads.
As an example, one needed entry at some point is "Vinegar Smell Syndrome and what to Do"....There is not one good thread that answers but perhaps several threads. Not all the info in each thread is index appropriate perhaps, but pieces are.
Maybe in cases like this, a new 'Master' thread could be made which links to the other appropriate threads...
I hope what i am saying makes sense.
Additionally, perhaps at some point we can arrange the index alphabetically so we can find entries faster(once it grows bigger).

I've added a category for technical websites.
As to Matthew's point, there is a way to create a link to a relevant section that is part of a longer thread. If you copy and paste a sentence from that post and place it in the Forum's search engine, it will create a link to that exact post, as opposed to the top of the thread. If there's any difficulty, please leave a link to the entire thread and let me know which number reply you think should be included in the index.
The categories in the index are now arranged alphabetically. The listings in each category might be done so in the future.
